Who this covers

TxtMogul is a missed-call text-back service for local businesses ("owners"). When someone calls an owner's business line and the call is missed, TxtMogul texts the caller back on the owner's behalf, collects their name, number, address and what they need for the owner, and, if the owner turns it on, can share the owner's prices or book an appointment.

What we collect

• Owner account data: name, email, business name, phone numbers, business hours, services, prices and settings you enter.
• Caller data (processed for the owner): the caller's phone number, the text messages exchanged, and details the caller shares (name, address, requested service, preferred time).
• Device data (apps): a push-notification token if you turn on alerts, and basic crash/diagnostic data from the operating system.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and plan status, never your card number.

How we use it

Only to provide the service: send and receive texts, generate replies, book appointments, alert the owner, bill the subscription, prevent abuse, and meet legal duties (for example honoring STOP opt-outs). We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or sites.

Who we share it with

Service providers acting for us: our SMS carrier/provider (e.g. Twilio or Quo), our database host (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), our AI model provider (to draft replies; not used to train their models where the provider offers that option), and Stripe for payments.

Google Calendar data

Google Calendar sync is coming soon. Once available, if you choose to connect a Google Calendar, TxtMogul requests only permission to see your free/busy times and to create events. We use free/busy times solely to avoid offering slots when you're busy, and we create an event only when a customer books a confirmed appointment with you. We don't read event titles or details, and we don't share Google data with anyone except to provide this feature. The access token is stored encrypted; disconnect at any time in Settings (which revokes it) or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. TxtMogul's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Owners can delete their account at any time in the app or on the web under Settings → Delete account (open it; sign-in required), or by emailing privacy@txtmogul.com from the account's email address. Deleting an account cancels its subscription and permanently removes its businesses, leads, conversations, bookings and alerts; backups roll off within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires (e.g. invoices and payment records held by Stripe).

Texting consent

Callers only get texts after they call or text a business that uses TxtMogul. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Full SMS terms.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers and opt-in records are used only to provide the service and honor opt-outs.
